**We are seeking a temporary Accountant for an accounting role in Ephrata PA. The position is estimated to last for five months. Start ASAP!

The Accountant is responsible for the accurate and timely processing of vendor invoices, payments, and employee payroll. This role ensures proper reconciliation of vendor accounts, resolves discrepancies, and manages all components of the bi-weekly payroll cycle.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:**

Manage the full accounts payable workflow, including collecting invoices, securing approvals, recording transactions, processing payments, and maintaining documentation.

Review and match purchase orders to invoices, verifying pricing, payment terms, and additional charges; resolve discrepancies prior to payment.

Communicate with vendors to request invoices, statements, W-9s, payment terms, and any additional information needed to ensure timely and accurate payments.

Run weekly accounts payable aging reports and address vendor account variances or issues.

Manage and replenish postage machine funds.

Maintain, reconcile, and replenish petty cash.

Collect, verify, and process bi-weekly payroll accurately and on schedule.

Maintain all required payroll files, documentation, and records.

Requirements:

Advanced knowledge of MS Excel

Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or similar

2+ years of accounting experience

Payroll processing experience preferred
