Mechanical Engineering Intern - Summer York, PA

MECHANICAL ENGINEERING INTERNSHIP SUMMER 2026

Summary: This internship opportunity is in our Engineering department. Interns will gain hands-on experience in mechanical and machine design.This position assists a lead engineer in production and machine design including CAD work.

Responsibilities: Mechanical design and analysis of new and existing hydro turbine or hydro generator products. Prepare designs or modifications of full range of products. Investigate new concepts for practicality, economy, and operating efficiency. Operate CAD/CAE equipment to complete work assignments & create 3D solid models of components and assemblies. Assist Drafters with the use of 3D solid models

Required Skills: Enrolled in an accreditedengineering program or CAD technology program. Demonstrated ability to work well with others to obtain effective results. Effective verbal and written communication skills
