Job Title: Industrial Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking a motivated and skilled Industrial Engineer to join our team. The role involves developing, evaluating, and improving manufacturing processes, interfacing with various departments to enhance manufacturing efficiencies, and contributing to our quality system to ensure that products meet or exceed customer expectations.

Responsibilities

Develop, evaluate, and improve manufacturing processes.

Improve manufacturing efficiencies by collaborating with management, manufacturing, scheduling, inventory control, and quality control departments.

Work with manufacturing and sales teams to design tools.

Analyze machine and tool problems and develop effective solutions.

Implement process changes to optimize cycle times, reduce production costs, and increase repeatability.

Research, design, develop, build, modify, and test mechanical devices, including tooling.

Interface with sales and customers to secure new business or enhance existing business.

Assist cost estimating staff in calculating manufacturing costs.

Contribute to our quality system to ensure that products meet or exceed customer expectations.

Essential Skills

Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering.

Proficiency in industrial engineering and continuous improvement methodologies.

CAD proficiency.

Customer focus and technical aptitude.

Excellent communication skills and ability to work as a team player.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

CAD training.

Desire to be hands-on with work.

Knowledge of hand tools and measuring equipment.

Physical ability to lift materials and move freely around equipment.

Strong computer and math skills.

Hardworking and dedicated.

Work Environment

The work environment consists of both shop floor and office settings. This position offers a great opportunity to grow, learn new skills, and advance within the company. Minimal prior experience is required.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Menomonee Falls, WI.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $28.85 - $33.65/hr.

Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
