Warehouse Associate

Shift Details:

Monday - Thursday | 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM

Friday and Sunday Off

Assignment Type: Onsite

Position Overview

As a Warehouse Associate, you will play a key role in ensuring freight is handled efficiently and delivered on time. You will work in a fast-paced warehouse environment supporting shipping, receiving, and inventory operations while following all safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

Assist with shipping and receiving activities, including unloading trucks, checking in merchandise, matching purchase orders to sales orders, and distributing orders for processing.

Read and interpret customer orders, work orders, shipping orders, and requisitions to determine items to be moved, gathered, distributed, or shipped.

Ensure the warehouse remains clean, accessible, and safe for employees and visitors.

Perform all job duties safely and in compliance with safety policies and procedures.

Assemble products and assist with inventory counts as needed.

Communicate with drivers regarding load status to confirm on-time deliveries.

Validate load data prior to marking deliveries complete for accuracy and accounting purposes.

Monitor daily pickups and deliveries to ensure freight arrives on time and in good condition.

Qualifications

Basic written and verbal communication skills.

Basic computer proficiency.

Ability to work flexible shifts, including days, evenings, nights, and weekends, based on operational needs.

Prior warehouse or dock experience, preferably in a transportation or logistics environment.

Experience loading and unloading trailers.

Familiarity with handheld scanners.

Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written, verbal, or diagram-based instructions.

Physical Requirements

Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 75 pounds.

Ability to load and unload trucks safely and efficiently.

Pay Details: $18.25 per hour
