Overview

The Technical Intern provides support to technical employees working in an organizational function related to the Intern's area of study. Performs basic engineering tasks.

Responsibilities

Learns organizational processes and procedures.

Contributes to assigned projects

May assist with the development and maintenance of documentation or records.

Assists with record and filing systems, drafting techniques, standards and data resource duties.

Organizes and stores maps, detailed design drawings, graphs, structural drawings and related engineering records.

Collects and codes data from sources for input procedures.

Reviews existing records for necessary revisions and prepares data.

Qualifications

Required Education, Experience, and Qualifications

Performs work under direct supervision.

Handles basic issues and problems, and refers more complex issues to higher-level staff.

Possesses beginning to working knowledge of subject matter.

Typically requires the incumbent to be pursuing an undergraduate degree in a technical area of study at a college or university.

Ability to work as part of a team.

Oral and written communication skills.

Attentiveness.

Ability to understand and follow directions.

Pay Range

USD $17.43 - USD $23.31 /Hr.
