As a result of continued growth, we are looking for a motivated Safety Director to join our growing team. We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Safety Director to join our dynamic team. The Safety Director will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining a comprehensive safety program to ensure a safe and healthy work environment for all employees. The Safety Director will ensure regulatory compliance and foster a proactive, incident-free workplace. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in safety management, excellent communication skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement. This role provides strategic leadership while maintaining a strong presence on the manufacturing floor. Key Responsibilities Lead and mentor a well-developed, dedicated Safety Team across multiple facilities, fostering a culture of safety and continuous improvement. Develop, implement and improve safety policies and procedures in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations Drive a culture of safety through training, leadership engagement, and continuous improvement initiatives Conduct regular safety and process audits and inspections to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with safety standards Provide training and education to employees Oversee investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective actions for incidents and near-misses. Prepare detailed reports with recommendations for corrective actions. Execute and document actions Maintain accurate and detailed records for all safety functions Maintain, develop, track and report safety metrics, KPIs, and trends to executive leadership Collaborate with management and employees to promote a culture of safety in the workplace Enforce safe behavior and workplace practices Stay current with industry trends and best practices in safety management. Review all process and procedures to ensure compliance Qualifications Required: Bachelor\'s degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering or a related field Minimum of 5 years of experience in safety management or a similar...
