Schedule: 1st shift Monday-Friday 8-5pm Pay Rate: $53.09 Location: 100% Onsite Pay Rate: $53.09 Schedule: Mon-Fri, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM Start Date: ASAP (after screenings clear) Interview Process 1st Round: Video interview via Microsoft Teams 2nd Round: Onsite interview with team members and manager Role Summary Seeking an experienced Software Engineer (Cybersecurity) with strong C++ and Python skills to help improve the security of medical devices. This role blends application development with system-level security engineering in a regulated environment. Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain software using C++ and Python Implement secure coding practices and cybersecurity controls Use OpenSSL for encryption, key management, and certificates Participate in code reviews, threat modeling, and vulnerability assessments Collaborate with cross-functional engineering and security teams Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience) 3+ years of experience with C++ and Python Experience with secure software development practices Strong problem-solving and communication skills Preferred Qualifications Qt framework experience Linux development experience OpenSSL, TLS, PKCS knowledge Medical device standards (IEC 62304) and FDA cybersecurity guidance familiarity Experience in regulated industries (healthcare, aerospace, automotive, defense) If you have additional questions, please contact Jennifer.cruz@hiregenics.com Benefits: Hiregenics offers benefits (based on eligibility) that include the following: health, dental, vision, term life, short term disability, AD&D, 401(k), Sick time, and other @types of paid leaves (as required by law), Employee Assistance Program (EAP).
