Innovate Marquette is searching for a successful and enthusiastic part-time Operations and Finance Coordinator to join their team in Marquette, MI. As an Operations and Finance Coordinator, you will support all facets of IMQT and Invent@NMU operations. This position will provide operations and financial support to executives and assist in day-to-day business operations.

The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, collaborative, adaptable, and passionate.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Provide confidential secretarial and administrative support for the principal executive or executives, including managing schedules, facilitating meetings, assisting with travel arrangements, etc.

Provide excellent customer service by greeting and directing visitors.

Provide administrative support to the Operations Manager, including filing, document organization, compliance, and policy review.

Provide basic administrative support in maintaining financial records, including entering and processing transactions, preparing payment documentation, billing coordination, etc.

Assist with day-to-day office operations, including managing incoming and outgoing mail, answering calls and emails, managing inventory, etc.

COMPENSATION/BENEFITS Innovate Marquette SmartZone puts great value in the Operations and Financial Coordinator position by offering a salary of $18 per hour.

SCHEDULE This is a part-time position generally working hours that will vary but will fall between the hours of 9:00am - 5:00pm Monday - Friday. This does have the potential to become full-time in the future.

QUALIFICATIONS

High school diploma required.

Some college coursework is a plus.

2+ years of experience working in an administrative, office, operations, or customer service role is preferred.

Experience working within a non-profit organization is preferred.

Proficiency in financial data entry, recordkeeping, or processing transactions.

Proven ability to work with sensitive and confidential information.

Must be organized, self-motivated, accountable, and detail orientated.

Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.

Proficient in Microsoft Office, Google Suite, and other office software and able to learn and adapt to new technologies.

Ability to work in a fast-paced customer facing role.

Impeccable writing and verbal communication skills.
