Description We are looking for an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team on a contract basis in Fort Morgan, Colorado. In this role, you will handle key financial tasks related to accounts payable, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in processing invoices and reconciling accounts. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute your expertise in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

Process and verify high volumes of invoices with precision and attention to detail.

Perform accurate account coding and ensure proper allocation of expenses.

Handle Automated Clearing House (ACH) payments and manage check runs efficiently.

Reconcile accounts, including bank and cash reconciliations, to maintain financial accuracy.

Match purchase orders with invoices using 3-way matching methodology.

Address discrepancies and resolve issues related to invoices and payments.

Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely processing of financial transactions.

Maintain organized records of all accounts payable activities.

Assist with audits by providing necessary documentation and information. Requirements - Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounts payable or related finance roles.

Proficiency in accounts payable processes, including coding invoices and handling ACH payments.

Strong knowledge of account reconciliations, including bank and cash reconciliations.

Experience with high-volume invoicing and purchase order matching.

Familiarity with 3-way matching methods for invoice verification.

Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
