In the Manufacturing Project Specialist (MPS) role for the Wilsonville Operations Team you will be joining a Collins Aerospace facility focused on developing, manufacturing, and servicing cutting edge Vision System technologies for both commercial & military applications. The MPS role is a versatile position that will be focused on facilitation and execution of a diverse list of continuous improvement &/or operational focused initiatives. This position will be a high visibility role expected to work cross-functionally in a matrixed organizational structure. WHAT YOU WILL DO:
Facilitating the necessary events/activities to deliver value to our customers to create self-sufficiency
Plan,leadand execute various projects,utilizingCORE Operating System for the Wilsonville, OR site.
On-time delivery recovery
Quality escapes and/or yield improvement activities
Specific cost/spend pressures including productivity/efficiency
Transform sites/cells to flow/pitch/takt using standard work (SWCS, % load, SWS)
Align all portions of operations to work in harmony, to include development of robust SIOP processes.
Determine/monitor/improve KPI's and implementation processes
IT Systems (SharePoint, web-based content delivery, etc.)
Positively affect KPI change
Lead special projects as needed
Effective leader in change management and cultural adaptation
QUALIFICATIONS YOU MUST HAVE:
Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experience ?
5+ years of experience driving tangible process improvements in a Business Process environment.
5+ years of experienceleading cross-functional teams and leaders within a complex and sometimes ambiguous matrix organization.
5+ years of experience in Lean Manufacturing practices and Operations/Shop Floor management.
QUALIFICATIONS WE PREFER:
Experience withquality & datamanagements systems
Experience with MRP/ERPenterprise solutions (ie.:SAP, Oracle)
Experiencewithchange managementthrough the use offormal methods
History of positivelyimpactingculture
CORE,Lean Practitioner, Six Sigma Certified (or equivalent)
Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve operational goals.
Detail-oriented and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Experience using analytical and problem-solving skills to effectivelyidentifyand resolve issues and mitigate risks.
The ability to remain focused under pressure to assess and resolve challenges.

The salary range for this role is 107,500 USD - 204,500 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
