As a Security Officer - Manufacturing Dispatch in Lake Forest, IL , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As a Dispatch professional with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in supporting security-related operations within a dynamic manufacturing and industrial location. You will help to deter incidents by monitoring communications, coordinating responses, and providing clear information to both team members and visitors. What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and participating in emergency response activities as needed.

Monitor and manage incoming and outgoing communications at the dispatch post, coordinating responses and relaying information to appropriate personnel.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, using established protocols to help maintain order at the location.

Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify any potential concerns.

Maintain accurate logs and records of all communications, incidents, and activities occurring during the shift.

Communicate professionally with staff, visitors, and emergency responders as required.

Assist with access control measures, verifying credentials and granting entry as appropriate for the manufacturing and industrial environment.

Minimum Requirements:

Have at least 1 year of law enforcement experience or 2 years of security supervisor or manager experience or 3 years of security-related experience.

Be at least 21 years of age.

Access control or badge experience is preferred.

Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
