The Opportunity with McKinstry
We are currently seeking a Marketing Coordinator to join our growing Enterprise Sales and Marketing team! In this role, you will assist Marketing staff in support of McKinstry's business development and market-facing communication efforts. Additional responsibilities may include:
Support production of proposals, qualifications, and client-facing presentation materials:
Support meeting proposal deadlines and established priorities and target dates for information gathering.
Assist with editing proposal content for readability, consistency, clarity and compliance with requirements.
Assist with research, writing, and updating information including project descriptions, resumes, and other qualification materials.
Manage electronic proposal files, including network database and SharePoint files, and ensure file closeout procedures are followed.
Develop marketing collateral and graphics in collaboration with the graphic designers and marketing specialists.
Update internal databases with key information to drive data integrity and synergy across the enterprise.
Work cross-functionally across the organization to identify opportunities for content development in partnership with marketing and communications specialists.
Assist in the creation of website and social media content to support sales efforts, including project and people profiles.
Perform other duties as assigned.
What You Need to Succeed at McKinstry
Bachelor's Degree of equivalent work experience required.
1-2 years of working experience in a marketing or communications role in architecture, engineering or construction (AEC) industry or similar capacity required.
Highly proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook required.
Strong working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite required, specifically Adobe InDesign.
Working knowledge of SharePoint preferred.
Experience telling stories across digital platforms (websites and social media) that drive engagement preferred.
Understanding of the AEC industry and marketing fundamentals preferred.
Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines required.
Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, written and verbal communication, and analytical skills.
Excellent time management and organizational skills required.
Ability to adapt to different communication styles required.
A collaborative team-player mindset with the ability to work independently required.
The ability to think outside the box to find solutions to problems required.
