BackWarehouse Associate#B39-1355Lumberton, New Jersey, United StatesApplyX Facebook LinkedIn Email CopyJob DescriptionJOB SUMMARY:Warehouse Associates are responsible for performing an array of duties, such as receiving and processing incoming stock and materials, picking and filling orders, packing and shipping orders.Hourly rate: $\18.50_Essential Duties and Responsibilities. (Note: Other duties may be assigned.)- Fill customer orders as assigned by picking, scale counting, packing, or shipping material.- Generate appropriate labels for product identification and/or mark materials with identifying information.- Prepare parcels for shipment in accordance with Heilind and customer specifications to prevent damage, ensure preservation, and accurate identification.- Work in a manner that promotes efficient handling and minimizes waste.- Participate in Company sponsored training and process improvement activities.- Comply with all Company Policies as defined in the Company's Warehouse Orientation Packet.- Pursue continuous improvement through training and process improvement.- Comply with all applicable elements of the Company's Quality Management System.- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.- Must have attention to detail.- Other duties as assigned.SKILLS:- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.- Ability to write simple correspondence.- Ability to use electronic devices such as barcode scanners for material pulling and material put away.- Basic computer skills- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.- Good interpersonal and communication skills- Problem solver- Team Player- Good organizational and time-management skills.- Attention to Detail- Adaptability- DependabilitySalary Range$18.50 per HourRequirementsEDUCATION:High school diploma or general education degree (GED), or one to three months related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.REQUIREMENTS:- Must be a U.S. Person defined as: U.S. Citizen, Any individual granted U.S. permanent residence, granted status as a ""protected person"" under 8 U.S.C. 132b (a) (3); corporation/business/organization/group incorporated in the U.S under U.S law; or part of the U.S. government.- Prior warehouse experience preferred, but not required- Ability to learn & perform multiple tasks in a fast paced team environment- Ability to work independently and safelyPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:- While performing the duties of this job the employee is often required to perform the following;- Sit, stand, or walk for long periods throughout the day, up to 8 hours per day.- Repetitive movements -- bending, lifting, squatting.- Ability to lift or move products up to 10 pounds regularly and frequently up to 25 pounds without assistance..- Physical stamina and manual dexterity.- Specific vision abilities required by this job include Close vision, Distance vision, Peripheral vision, Depth perception and Ability to adjust focus.WORKING CONDITIONS:- The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.- This position is exposed to large moving equipment, including motorized pallet jacks, forklifts, lift trucks, and conveyor belts.- The facility is equipped with both air condition and heat.Hybrid, Onsite, or RemoteOnsiteCompliance StatementTo perform this position, you must be a US Citizen due to contractual requirements with the US Navy.
