Job Summary:
The Supply Chain Manager is responsible for overseeing the entire supply chain management system within the organization. This role involves developing and implementing supply chain policies and procedures, managing a team of supply chain professionals, and ensuring that supply chain activities meet or exceed company objectives. The Supply Chain Manager conducts regular audits, reviews supply chain performance data, and collaborates with other departments to drive continuous improvement initiatives. Key responsibilities include managing supply chain documentation, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations, and reporting on supply chain performance to senior leadership.
Responsibilities:
Planning and Forecasting
Develop supply chain strategies and plans for all products
Forecast demand and plan inventory levels
Analyze and monitor market trends and adjust plans accordingly
Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to develop sales forecasts
Procurement
Identify and select suppliers
Negotiate contracts and terms with suppliers
Monitor supplier performance and ensure timely delivery of materials
Manage inventory levels to optimize costs and meet production demands
Logistics and Distribution
Oversee transportation and shipment of goods
Monitor and improve supply chain efficiency
Ensure timely delivery of products to customers
Coordinate with warehouse and distribution centers
Risk Management
Identify potential risks in the supply chain and develop contingency plans
Monitor and mitigate potential disruptions
Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards
Manage product recalls and returns
Budgeting and Cost Management
Develop and manage supply chain budget
Identify cost saving opportunities and implement strategies
Monitor and analyze supply chain costs
Ensure cost efficiency and effectiveness throughout the supply chain
Continuous Improvement
Analyze current processes and identify areas for improvement
Implement and monitor process improvements
Utilize data and analytics to make informed decisions
Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to enhance supply chain operations.
Team Management:
Lead and manage a team, providing guidance, feedback, and support.
Set goals and KPIs for team members and monitor performance.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field, with at least 7 years experience., with at least 2 years experience as a people manager or equivalent work experience that provides exposure to fundamental theories, principles, and concepts.
Proven experience in import/export operations with significant supervisory experience.
Expert level understanding of advanced failure analysis techniques.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills to identify issues and develop effective solutions.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills to report findings and make recommendations.
Strong analytical skills to interpret complex data and translate it into actionable insights.
Proficiency in data analysis tools and software, such as Excel, Google Analytics, and various CRM platforms.
Experience with digital marketing strategies, including SEO, PPC, and SEM campaigns.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present findings clearly and persuasively.
A strategic thinker with a test and learn approach to marketing efforts and process improvements.
Resource Allocation: Allocate personnel, tools, and other resources efficiently to achieve project goals. Balance competing priorities and adapt as needed.
End-to-end Project Management: Lead improvement projects from initiation to completion. Monitor progress, address challenges, and ensure timely delivery of measurable results.
The estimated salary range for this position is $125,00 to $140,00 plus bonus. Starting pay is dependent on multiple factors, such as skills, experience, and work location, and is not typically at the top of the range.
