About The Role:
CBRE Corporate Capital Markets (CCM) is seeking a financial analyst. This position will play an integral role in working with CCM to develop financial models, presentations, offering materials and other duties as needed. The chosen candidate will have a strong foundational knowledge of financial/valuation concepts, demonstrate a passion for real estate, work well in a dynamic team environment and demonstrate a strong work ethic.
CCM provides unbiased advice, analysis and execution capabilities for corporately owned and occupied real estate. This is a unique opportunity for the right individual to be a part of this team and to work with, and learn from, the best in the industry.
What You'll Do:
-Prepare and update financial models related to current transactions / transaction pursuits.
-Summarize financial and reporting implications of competing transaction alternatives.
-Perform market research, collecting relevant information and statistics required for the production of offering memorandum, BOVs, and financial models.
-Prepare presentations, offering memorandum and financial reports.
-Track the collection and organization of due diligence materials.
-Analyze, review, and interpret real estate source documents, including operating statements, rent rolls, leases, and other due diligence material.
-Interact with clients, prospective buyers, and investors.
-Collect data from multiple sources to generate reports.

-Bachelor's degree in business, accounting, or finance with at least three (3) years of experience within the commercial real estate industry or finance (investment management, private equity, or investment banking).
-Must demonstrate an aptitude for building and understanding financial models. Excellent quantitative and analytical skills in combination with outstanding communication skills (both oral and written).
-Self-starter with sharp focus on details with an awareness of the bigger picture.
-Experience with analyzing information and standard practices to make judgments.
-In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office suite, including Word and Excel. Must have advanced Excel skills (functions, macros, data analysis) to create complex financial models.
-A sense of personal accountability and urgency for achieving results in a challenging, fast-paced, environment.
-Prior experience with property valuation and investment analysis. Familiarity with discounted cash flow and comparable sales analysis.
-Organizational skills with a strong inquisitive mindset.
-Strong understanding of accounting, including understanding and analyzing financial income statements. Prior experiences in lease accounting preferred.
-Strong writing skills, including the ability to effectively summarize legal documents.
-Ability to work collaboratively with brokers, developers, and other industry professionals.
