Overview

** This position is Hybrid schedule: Specific on-site days may vary based on departmental needs.

Purpose Statement/Position Summary: With supervision from senior technical members of the team, the Junior Data Scientist conducts research in medical applications of data science by applying techniques and models from machine learning and computational statistics to large amounts of clinical data.

Minimum Qualifications/Work Experience: Bachelor's Degree in a STEM field or 2+ years of experience conducting research in computer science, statistics, or algorithm development. Publications are a plus.

Education/Licensure/Certification: B.S. in Computer Science, Statistics, Physics, Electrical Engineering, or related field.

Pay Scale Information

$64,501.00-$105,966.00

Final determination of a successful candidate's starting pay will vary based on a number of factors, including, but not limited to education and experience within the job or the industry. The pay scale listed for this position is generally for candidates that meet the specified qualifications and requirements listed on this specific job description. Additional pay may be determined for those candidates that exceed these specified qualifications and requirements.
