The Montana Department of Public Health and Human Services (DPHHS) has a career opportunity within the Child Support Services Division. The Child Support Services Division (CSSD) seeks to diligently pursue and ultimately achieve financial and medical support of children by establishing, enforcing, and increasing public awareness of parental obligations. The Child Support Investigator maintains a complex caseload (up to 500 cases) and provides state administered child support services. Qualifications for this Career Opportunity Knowledgeof investigative principles, due process, administrative and judicial process. Knowledge of general collections principles and social service programs. Abilityto analyze information, make decisions and solve problems. Excellentwritten and verbal communication skills. Meet minimum qualifications: o Bachelor's degree in criminal justice, business administration, public administration, social work, psychology, or related field. o Threeyears job related experience, child support, general investigative or relevant collections experience. o Othercombinations of directly related education and experience may be considered on a case-by-case basis. Preferred: o Child support enforcement experience.
