Description We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to support a manufacturing company based in Addison, Texas. In this contract position, you will play a pivotal role in managing financial processes, ensuring accuracy, and maintaining compliance with accounting standards. This opportunity is ideal for professionals with strong expertise in reconciliations and month-end processes.

Responsibilities:

Perform detailed account reconciliations, including bank statements, to ensure accuracy and alignment with financial records.

Handle journal entries and maintain the general ledger, ensuring the integrity of financial data.

Assist with month-end closing processes, preparing accurate financial reports and statements.

Identify discrepancies in financial records and implement solutions to address them effectively.

Collaborate with internal teams to streamline accounting procedures and ensure compliance with company policies.

Utilize Sage 100 software to manage accounting tasks and maintain accurate documentation.

Support cleanup and organization of bank reconciliations to improve financial efficiency.

Provide insights and recommendations for process improvements in accounting operations.

Ensure adherence to accounting regulations and standards in all financial activities.

Assist with other accounting-related tasks as needed to meet organizational goals. Requirements - Proven experience in month-end close processes and financial reporting.

Strong knowledge of general ledger accounting and journal entry preparation.

Proficiency in account reconciliation, including bank reconciliations.

Hands-on experience with Sage 100 accounting software.

Ability to identify and resolve discrepancies in financial records.

Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with internal teams.

Familiarity with accounting standards and regulations in the manufacturing industry.
