Job Description

As an environmental Field Technician , you will play a vital role in safeguarding our environment by collecting samples and monitoring potential pollution sources. Your work will contribute to ensuring public health and ecosystem well-being, making a real difference in the world. As a Field Technician , you will have a weekly routine driving route 2-4 days a week where you will collect and analyze field samples.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Safely and efficiently drive assigned routes, arriving at designated locations for customers on time.

Collect samples of water and soil for laboratory analysis.

Perform on-site testing and analysis of samples in a field setting.

Load and unload laboratory samples and field equipment

Follow all traffic laws and company policies while operating a company vehicle.

Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment Laboratory work: Assist senior technicians and scientists with more complex laboratory procedures.

Qualifications

Basic Minimum Job Qualifications:

Associate's degree in environmental science, biology, chemistry, or a related field preferred.

HS Diploma Required

Authorization to work in US indefinitely without sponsorship

Valid driver's license with a clean driving record

Professional working proficiency in English is a requirement, including the ability to read, write and speak in English.

Additional Preferences:

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions.

Communication skills to interact with customers and team members

Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks as required.

Additional Information

Position is full-time, Regular Business hours of operation are 7:30 AM- 4:30 PM however Field Technician positions allow for flexible scheduling.

Position is located at our Huntsville, TX site.

Position Pay Range is $15-20/hr but will be reviewed based on experience.
