As a Security Guard - Unarmed Mall Patrol in Sunnyvale, TX , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol retail locations to help to deter security-related incidents and create a welcoming atmosphere. Your presence and attention to detail contribute to a positive experience for all visitors. You will conduct routine patrols, remain highly visible, and deliver exceptional customer service, all while embodying our values of teamwork, integrity, and a people-first approach.

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to clients and visitors at the retail location by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding appropriately in emergency situations.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, supporting a secure environment for staff and patrons.

Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail premises and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues.

Observe and report any suspicious behavior, hazards, or irregularities within the retail environment to the appropriate personnel.

Assist with access control, monitoring entrances and exits to help to deter unauthorized entry and/or theft.

Communicate professionally with clients, visitors, and Allied Universal management to relay important information and observations as needed.

Support emergency response activities as outlined in site procedures, including guiding individuals during evacuations or other critical events.

Minimum Requirements:

At least one year of security-related experience is required.

Loss prevention experience is preferred.

Customer service experience is preferred.

Experience with access control or badge systems is preferred.

Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
