Job Description**

We are seeking an Electrical Technician responsible for wiring new truck chassis, as well as troubleshooting and testing them prior to release. This role requires a thorough understanding of electrical schematics and blueprints, reading electrical symbols, point-to-point wiring, and an understanding of electrical flow. You will work with both new and used chassis as part of the manufacturing process, following mechanical assembly.

Responsibilities

Perform all necessary routines pertaining to electronic components.

Ensure all equipment meets quality standards for electrical assembly.

Verify that completed equipment functions properly.

Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and related paperwork.

Install and terminate all electrical components and connections.

Fabricate and install conduit lines.

Update paperwork to reflect any changes.

Operate equipment safely, including Ironworker, Band Saw, Drill Presses, hand drills, overhead cranes, and other required equipment.

Operate forklift safely and maintain the necessary training certificate.

Test-run completed equipment prior to shipment.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Essential Skills

Electrical troubleshooting and wiring skills.

Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and blueprints.

Knowledge of electrical symbols, AC/DC voltage, and conduit.

Proficiency in point-to-point wiring, electrical assembly, and installation.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

2-year electrical degree preferred.

Minimum 6 months of electrical experience on the job.

Proficiency with utilizing basic and specialized tools.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of St Paul, MN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $29.00/hr.
