As a Security Guard - Manufacturing Facility Patrol in Sunnyvale, CA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a visible presence. Your role involves conducting routine patrols, engaging with individuals on site, and providing outstanding customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, supporting the needs of the location.

Conduct regular and random patrols around the manufacturing and industrial facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and report any irregularities.

Monitor entrances, exits, and other critical areas throughout the location to help to deter unauthorized access and maintain a visible Allied Universal presence.

Observe and report any security-related incidents, hazards, or suspicious activities to the appropriate personnel.

Assist employees, visitors, and contractors with directions and information related to the facility and its operations.

Maintain detailed and accurate logs and reports of daily activities and incidents as required by site procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

At least one year of security-related experience is required.

CPR certification is preferred.

Customer service experience is preferred.

A guard card or license is preferred.

At this site there are limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
