Who are we looking for? Our Central Region Environmental businesses in Plainwell, MI is looking for a Senior Environmental Engineer, Geologist, or Scientist to join their team. In this role, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the future of our Contamination Assessment & Remediation service line through the coordination and implementation of a wide range of environmental solutions and projects. Working with an energetic and high performing team, this position offers a variety of work and will see you involved in: Preparation of technical correspondence, project proposals, reports, work plans, and project specifications Interpretation/evaluation of environmental regulations Data compilation, reduction, and interpretation Management of clients Development of business opportunities Mentorship of staff What you will bring to the Team Bachelor's and/or Master's degree in Environmental Engineering, Geology, Environmental Science or related field 10+ years of experience in environmental consulting including environmental remediation and site assessments, report writing, data management & interpretation, project coordination, and managing clients Project experience with CERCLA is beneficial Experience in coordinating and simultaneously managing multiple tasks while maintaining a high degree of attention to detail in a consulting environment is required Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work both within a team and independently Ability work in a fast-paced environment OSHA 40-hour HAZWOPER certification a plus #LI-JS1 Benefits: 401K - Employees are eligible to participate on the first day of the month following 3 months of service Paid time off - Our PTO benefit is designed to provide eligible employees with a period of rest and relaxation, sick, and personal time throughout the year. PTO starts at 16 days per year and increases with years of service/experience. Holiday Pay - Holiday pay is provided for eligible employees. GHD observes 9 holidays per year. Holiday pay will be based on the regular set schedule for the employee * Wellness Benefit- Regular full-term employees are eligible to participate in the wellness reimbursement program.
