Job Description Shift: 1st Shift Days of Work: Monday - Friday Work Hours: 8:00am - 5:00pm Work Location: On-site (Mankato, MN) Starting Salary: $70,500 to $90,500 Annually Pay Frequency: Bi-Weekly At Nidec, we prioritize our team's well-being and success. Position Objective: In this role, the Sales Engineer maintains a high-level knowledge of their segment(s) product offerings and awareness of competing products/services, discount and pricing structures, and overall strengths and weaknesses in order to determine how best to service and motivate customers. They are the main contact internally and externally as it relates to sales engineer tasks within their segment(s). Essential Duties/Responsibilities: Suggest solutions in a timely manner and present quotations to key customer(s) Research key customer wants and needs, and suggest solutions Negotiate and draft comprehensive written proposals for the sale of products Maintains an updated sales funnel and participate in regular sales reviews Serve as contact point for key customers and internal teams Resolve customers' complaints in an effective and respectful way Visit customer locations as appropriate to develop relationships Attend applicable trade shows and conferences Gather, report and communicate customers' feedback on service, technology and product delivery Measure, track and analyze key account metrics Create reports for upper management Keep abreast with industry and market trends and best practices Identify bottlenecks in the sales process Experience/Skills: 2-4 Years of experience preferred Previous relevant working experience Experience in sales and customer services will be an advantage Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills Aptitude in networking and building relationships Excellent time and project management skills Ability to prioritize and meet critical deadlines Problem-solving and negotiation aptitude Education: BS in Business, Engineering or similar relevant field or BA in relevant field with sufficient industry experience Additional Job Details CHECK US OUT ON YOUTUBE: http://acim.nidec.com/generators/kato-engineering/about-us/katocareers Equal Employment Opportunity and Affirmative Action at Nidec Work Shift Schedule First Shift (United States of America) No Soliciting Nidec will not accept unsolicited resumes from individual recruiters or third party recruiting agencies in response to Nidec job postings.
