The Mount Abraham Unified School District (MAUSD) is a public school dedicated to providing a high-quality education for all students. We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated individual to join our team of Administrative Assistants at Mt. Abraham Union Middle/High School.\ \ The Administrative Assistant provides essential administrative and clerical support to the schools main office, counseling offices, and school administration. This role supports daily operations, staff, students, families, and school-wide events.\ Key Responsibilities\ Provide front office support, including answering phones, greeting visitors, writing passes and tracking attendance, and managing secure entry.\ Secure substitutes and maintain staff time-off and substitute calendars.\ Support Assistant Principals with scheduling, meetings, and administrative tasks.\ Prepare and distribute mailings, reports, handbooks, forms, and weekly notices.\ Coordinate Family/Teacher Conferences, picture days, and school events.\ Manage ticket sales and collect permission and consent forms when needed.\ Maintain staff records in PowerSchool and assist with required reporting.\ Support graduation planning and other school-wide activities.\ Troubleshoot and coordinate maintenance for office equipment.\ Assist with mail processing and travel to the post office or central office as needed.\ Perform additional administrative duties as assigned.\ Working Conditions:\ This position reports to the school principal.\ This is a full-time school year position with hours 7:30 am to 3:30 pm. This position requires early morning hours to secure daily substitutes.\ The position may require occasional travel between school sites or to attend meetings and training.\ The salary range is \$24.64 - \$29.57 and commensurate with experience in accordance with the Mt. Job Requirements

High school diploma required; postsecondary education preferred.\

Prior administrative or school office experience preferred.\ Strong organizational, communication, and technology skills.\ Ability to manage confidential information and multitask in a busy environment.

At least1year(s) of relevant experience preferred.

High School/Trade Schooldegree preferred.

Citizenship, residency or work visa required
