Our client, a prominent organization in the technology and non-profit sector, is seeking a dedicated Cloud Engineer to join their dynamic team. As a Cloud Engineer, you will be an integral part of the IT Operations department supporting innovative infrastructure solutions. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, adaptability, and a collaborative spirit, which will align successfully within the organization.

Pay Range:

What's the Job?

Design, develop, document, test, and debug new configuration management (Terraform) infrastructure as code from scratch.

Operationalize AWS and implement security mechanisms for AWS services.

Collaborate with internal teams to architect, engineer, configure, and deploy AWS and other infrastructure technologies using approved organizational technologies.

Develop self-service infrastructure provisioning, delivery pipelines, log, and monitoring services in partnership with System Operations.

Monitor, fix, and improve infrastructure continuously, ensuring optimal performance and security.

What's Needed?

Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field.

7-10 years of directly related experience in systems administration and engineering.

3-5 years of operational experience in enterprise environments.

Extensive experience with Terraform and AWS Cloud infrastructure including ECS, EC2, API Gateway, S3, Lambda, and related services.

Strong knowledge of Microsoft and Linux server operating systems, networking, ports, protocols, and routing in firewalled, wide-area networks.
