Summary This position is located at Defense Finance and Accounting Service- Texarkana. Incentives and Bonuses Incentives will not be paid. Responsibilities Distributes and balances workload, assures timely accomplishment of assigned work, and keeps in touch with the status and progress of work on a daily basis. Obtains assistance from the supervisor on problems that may arise and maintains records of work accomplishments. Resolves simple, informal complaints of employees and refers others to supervisor. Instructs employees on tasks and job requirements, develops written instructions as necessary, and answers questions regarding procedures, policies, and directives. Reviews, amends, or rejects the work not meeting established standards. Provides specialized training to employees in problem areas as needed or requested. A qualified candidate must possess the following: Demonstrated progressive work experience related to the duties that are identified above. Work experience should include the following skills, knowledge and abilities: Must have knowledge of working with a calculator and personal computer. Must have demonstrated the ability to work independently. Must have the ability and skill to communicate orally and in writing. Experience must be clearly reflected on resume to receive credit. Allowances and Differentials This job is part of a pay-banded system. Sunday premium pay for regularly scheduled employees and night differential pay may be authorized by the Garrison Commander. Non-foreign overseas allowances, cost of living (COLA), and differentials will not be paid, contingent upon eligibility.
