Job Title: Mechanical Assembler
Pay: $23 - $25/hr
Shift: First (1st) shift: 6:00am - 2:30pm, Monday - Friday
Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Mechanical Assembler who will be responsible for the assembly of mechanical and pneumatic products to meet customer requirements. The role includes training from initial assembly through to completion, including the packaging of splicers.
Responsibilities
Assemble splicers and sub-assemblies according to established procedures and work instructions.
Utilize a variety of hand and power tools, including screwdrivers, wrenches, drills, hammers, and tape measures, for assembly tasks.
Accurately complete job logging through Epicor to account for assembly times.
Operate overhead cranes and other lifting mechanisms safely, ensuring all parts are free from flaws, defects, or imperfections, and properly reject non-conformant parts.
Cross-train in other areas as necessary to maintain production flow.
Maintain proper certifications, such as crane operation.
Consistently present high standards of quality and safety.
Essential Skills
Experience in mechanical assembly and pneumatics.
Proficiency in using hand and power tools.
Ability to read and work from blueprints, schematics, and verbal instructions.
Proficient at converting decimals to inches.
Capable of working with minimal supervision.
Able to lift 35 pounds and stand for an entire workday.
Able to climb and work from ladders.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $25.00/hr.
