As a Security Officer - Hotel Access Driver in LONG GROVE, IL , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Hotels & Resorts, and more. As an Access Control Security Officer with Allied Universal at a prominent hotel and resort location, you will monitor entrances, conduct routine patrols, and remain highly visible to help deter security-related incidents. Your role will focus on providing outstanding customer service and clear communication while maintaining a welcoming environment. This is a driving post, so a valid driver's license is required. Pay Rate: $20.40 / Hour

Mon02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

Tue02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

Fri02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

Sat02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to guests and staff by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations when appropriate.

Monitor and control access to the location, verifying credentials and authorizations for entry to help to deter unauthorized individuals from entering restricted areas.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting and reporting events as required by site protocols.

Conduct regular and random patrols around the property and its perimeter to observe and report any unusual activity or security-related concerns.

Assist with crowd management and guest inquiries during busy periods or special events at the location.

Communicate and collaborate with location management, Allied Universal team members, and local authorities as needed to maintain a secure environment.

Minimum Requirements:

A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
