Job Title: Aseptic Technician - 3rd shift

Job Description

Schedule: Monday to Friday 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM

We are seeking a dedicated Aseptic Technician for the 3rd shift to support the validation of new manufacturing areas, equipment, and processes.

This role involves collaboration with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot issues, participate in aseptic process simulations, and ensure product quality through in-process inspections and quality control checks.

You will play an integral part in maintaining and improving the efficiency of our operations while adhering to strict cGMP and Good Documentation Practices.

Responsibilities

Assist with initial and subsequent validation of new manufacturing areas, equipment, and processes.

Collaborate with Quality Assurance, Quality Control, and Maintenance teams to troubleshoot and resolve deviations.

Participate in aseptic process simulations, media fills, and equipment qualifications.

Conduct in-process inspections and quality control checks to verify product quality.

Complete applicable logbook, form, and batch record documentation while adhering to cGMP and Good Documentation Practices.

Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities to enhance processes, reduce waste, and increase efficiency.

Complete initial aseptic gowning and process qualification and maintain qualification to work within Grade A and Grade B cleaning environments.

Comply with policies, guidelines, and regulatory requirements of the Quality System and applicable cGMPs.

Perform other duties as required and assigned by management.

Essential Skills

Experience in aseptic clean rooms Grade A & B (alongside filling rooms).

2-3 years of industry experience.

Proficiency in aseptic techniques, cleanroom protocols, and cGMP.

Ability to read and comprehend work instructions and standard operating procedures.

Capability to understand equipment alarms and escalate as necessary.

Exceptional attention to detail, accuracy, and documentation skills.

Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.

Flexibility to work in shifts, including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical or vocational education is a plus.

Experience with aseptic gowning and techniques.

Troubleshooting skills in laboratory and manufacturing processes.

Knowledge of sterilization and cell culture processes.

Work Environment

The position requires working in Grade A & B clean room environments with strict aseptic gowning protocols.

Candidates must be clean-shaven to comply with gowning requirements.

The role involves working in shifts, including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays, as dictated by production schedules

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Parsippany, NJ.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $28.00/hr.
