Excavation Laborer

Temporary, full time position. Perform hand labor at construction and
excavation sites. Operate hand tools such as shovels and rakes to form,
dig and fill trenches and holes no larger than 5\' wide and no deeper
than 3\' utilities (to be installed by other contractors). Use shovels,
rakes and compactors to shape and grade earth in and around concrete
residential foundations. Prepare site and clean up debris and other
waste materials. Shifts are 8:00AM 5:00PM on week days and 8:00AM -
12:00PM on Saturdays 40+ hours/wk. Up to 20 hours of overtime possible.
Employees will work 5- 6 days/wk but days of the week will vary weekly.
Employees must be able to commit to entire period of need. Will train.
Pay will be within range \$29.64 - \$30.00 based upon performance at
employer\'s discretion. Possible bonuses based upon performance at
employer\'s discretion. Employer will make all deductions from paycheck
as required by law. A standard work week will be used to compute wages.
Employer will provide employee(s), without charge or deposit charge any
tools, supplies and equipment required to perform the duties assigned,
in accordance with 20 CFR 655.20(k). Employee will be reimbursed for
initial inbound subsistence and transportation after 50% of employment
period is completed. Upon completion of the period of need, or if
employee is dismissed early, employer will pay for workers reasonable
costs and subsistence of outbound, return, transportation back to where
employee came from, unless the employee does not return. The amount of
transportation reimbursed will be equal to the most economical and
reasonable common carrier for the distances involved. Daily subsistence
for travel will be provided at a rate of \$16.28/day up to a max of
\$68.00/day with proof by receipts. Employees will be reimbursed in the
first work week for all visa, visa processing, border crossing, and
other related fees, including those mandated by the government
(excluding passport fees). Employer guarantees to offer work for hours
equal to at least three-fourths of the workdays in each 12 week period
to the total employment period.
