Job Title: Systems Test Engineer

Job Description

The Systems Test Engineer will support EMI/EMC testing efforts, including creating and maintaining electrical system strategies and test plans for multiple defense programs. The role involves conducting environmental reliability testing (HALT/HASS) on PCBA and performing electrical compliance and robustness testing, specifically MIL-STD-704 and MIL-STD-461. The engineer will design and deploy electrical system integration test benches and support vehicle-level to component-level test requirements, as well as integration testing of electrical subsystems.

Responsibilities

Create and maintain electrical system strategies and test plans.

Conduct EMI/EMC testing and environmental reliability testing (HALT/HASS) on PCBA.

Perform electrical compliance and robustness testing, including MIL-STD-704 and MIL-STD-461.

Design and deploy electrical system integration test benches.

Support vehicle-level to component-level test requirements.

Conduct integration testing of electrical subsystems.

Essential Skills

4+ years of experience in EMI/EMC testing.

Strong understanding of MIL-STD-704 and MIL-STD-461.

Working knowledge of HALT/HASS testing methods.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (BS EE).

This position supports Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS) and involves working with a team of 10 engineers and 1 technician. Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Costa Mesa, CA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $60.00 - $90.00/hr.
