REQUIREMENTS: Must be at least 18 years of age. Must be available the entire work period of 02/17/2026-12/15/2026. Must agree to work Mon-Fri, 9 hours per day, Sat, 5 hours. Employer will provide transportation from employer provided living quarters to work site every day. Must read, and agree to, all terms and conditions of employment prior to a referral to the employer.

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS: Must have at least 3 months of verifiable experience in all job duties. This job requires exposure to extreme temperatures, ability to lift 50 lbs., repetitive movements, extensive walking, frequent stooping, Driver requirements.

JOB DUTIES: Handling manual tasks associated with commodity production and harvest activities. Varner Valley Farms is a long-established and diversified agricultural operation that has been proudly family-owned since 1815. Our farm consists of 1,500 acres, including 200 acres owned by the family and an additional 1,300 acres leased for production. The farm operates within both row-crop and livestock sectors, growing corn, soybeans, wheat, and hay. Much of the farm's crop production is integrated into our livestock operation, where we utilize our feed resources to support cattle production and enhance the value of the crops grown. Each year, calves are purchased beginning in late February and all acquisitions are completed by the first week of April. These cattle are fed and closely monitored for approximately 60 days to ensure proper health conditioning before being turned out onto pastures for spring, summer, and fall grazing. During the grazing season, cattle are routinely checked, fed as needed, and provided ongoing health and welfare oversight. By mid-December, all cattle are sold and shipped, resulting in a period with no livestock present and no remaining field work for the crop division until the next production cycle begins.
