Job Description

AECOM is actively seeking a highly motivated Civil Engineering V for immediate employment in Oakland, California.

Job Responsibilities:

Serves as lead engineer on mid- to large size projects.

Provides specialized technical input to studies and design for staff's specific area of expertise.

Approves and signs off on work.

Provides technical expertise for studies and design efforts.

Presents complex technical solutions to clients.

Performs quality control reviews of work developed by others.

Participates in development of technical proposals.

Provides estimates for the engineering budget and schedule to meet requirements on large projects.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

BA/BS + 8 years or more of relateable or demonstrated equivalence and/or education.

Professional Engineering (PE) license required.

Preferred Qualifications:

California PE license preferred.

Proven track record of successfully managing mid- to large-size projects.

Strong technical writing and presentation skills.

Proficiency in CAD software and other relevant engineering tools.

Experience with quality control processes and procedures.

Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

Strong leadership and team management abilities.

Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.

Experience in developing technical proposals and cost estimates.

Ability to manage project budgets and schedules effectively.

Knowledge of relevant industry standards and regulations.

Willingness to mentor and develop junior engineers.

Additional Information

Offered rate of compensation will be based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. The range for this position is $145000 to $210000.
