Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to join our team in Ontario, California. This role requires someone with strong organizational abilities to handle a variety of accounting tasks in a small office environment. You will play a vital role in ensuring accurate financial record-keeping and smooth communication with field crews and external customers.

Responsibilities:

Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

Perform detailed data entry tasks to maintain and update financial records.

Process invoices and ensure proper documentation for payment purposes.

Handle lien releases and associated documentation in compliance with industry standards.

Communicate with customers to gather required documents for payment processing.

Assist the Area Manager with contract reviews and related administrative tasks.

Open and process mail, ensuring proper distribution and follow-up.

Support the office's day-to-day operations with flexibility and adaptability.

Utilize advanced Excel skills for financial analysis and reporting.

Collaborate with field crews and other team members to maintain a cohesive workflow. Requirements - Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in accounting or a related field.

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.

Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with ProContractor and NiceTouch is highly desirable.

Familiarity with iEWB software is preferred.

Strong knowledge of accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.

Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

Ability to work effectively in a small office environment with occasional interaction with field crews.

Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
