Job Title

About Your Role

You will lead application development teams and collaborate with many cross-functional teams within technology and business groups. You will ensure predictable, consistent, and successful project delivery. You will plan, coordinate, and monitor large sized program and partner with key business stakeholders and IT senior management staff.

What you'll do:

Manage and ensure cost effective delivery of large and complex technology projects

Develop customized solutions within the platform to support critical business functions and meet project objectives, client requirements, and company goals

Manage daily support and maintenance and conduct long-term improvement operations to ensure compatibility with evolving mission requirements

Provide leadership, guidance, and mentoring to application development/engineering teams on best practices, standards, tools, and methodologies

Maintain a flexible and proactive work environment to facilitate a quick response to changing project requirements and customer objectives and innovate ways to meet mission goals successfully

Lead and coordinate cross-functional teams that are responsible for all aspects of a project, from initiation to closure

Experience you'll need to have:

10+ years of application development experience on Java stack and cloud platforms

8+ years of experience managing enterprise-wide programs

5+ years of experience in Docker containers, Kubernetes, databases, NoSQL systems, storage, and distributed persistence technologies

5+ years of programming experience in Java with a strong knowledge of data structures, algorithms, operating systems, and distributed systems fundamentals

3+ years of experience in working with Agile Teams

Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education, work, and military experience

Experience that would be great to have:

Microsoft Azure experience

Experience in banking or financial industry, particularly Credit Cards domain

Experience in managing technology projects focused on transformation

Strong understanding of cloud computing principles

Experience in relevant project management methodologies

How you'll work:

Fiserv emphasizes in-person collaboration to help you grow your career while shaping the future of fintech, this role is on-site Monday through Friday

This role requires flexibility to work overtime that includes weekends and holidays

This role requires use of a computer and audio equipment

Travel:

Approximately 10% travel off-site or to other office locations is expected

Sponsorship:

In order to be considered, you must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without need for visa sponsorship now or in the future

Salary Range

$146,000.00 - $244,800.00

These pay ranges apply to employees in New Jersey and New York. Pay ranges for employees in other states may differ.

For incentive eligible associates, the successful candidate is eligible for an annual incentive opportunity which may be delivered as a mix of cash bonus and equity awards in the Company's sole discretion.
