Job Title: Assembler

Job Description

Join our team as an Assembler, where you will work from Monday to Friday, with mandatory overtime. The first shift runs from 5:00 AM to 1:00 PM, and the second shift from 1:00 PM to 9:00 PM. Be prepared for possible early start times of 3:30 AM or 4:00 AM. Work in a collaborative environment assembling and inspecting sunglasses.

Responsibilities

Work in teams of 3-4 to assemble and inspect sunglasses from start to finish.

Screw, glue, and fasten individual pieces of sunglasses together, preparing them for lens installation and quality auditing.

Install lenses into frames and glue icons onto frames.

Use small tools to insert screws or pins to secure frames.

Operate pad printing machines, mix paint, and troubleshoot malfunctions.

Sand and buff gate/burr off the center frame.

Submit products to Quality Auditor for final inspection before packaging.

Set up work stations at the start of the shift and adapt to building different models each day.

Rotate job duties to minimize repetitive movements.

Maintain flexibility as specific job duties and departmental assignments may change.

Essential Skills

Ability to work in a highly repetitive, short-cycle assembly environment.

Capability to stand and walk for 8-10+ hours a day.

Good attendance with a 'three strikes' mentality.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Experience in assembly or production is helpful but not required.

Work Environment

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Foothill Ranch, CA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.97 - $18.97/hr.
