Our client, a renowned manufacturer in the precision metal stamping industry, is seeking a Sales Associate / Estimator to join their team. As a Sales Associate / Estimator, you will be part of the sales department supporting various teams. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a customer-focused mindset which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Sales Associate / Estimator

Location: South Minneapolis, MN

Pay Range: $23 - $25/hr (Negotiable)

Schedule : 8:00AM - 4:30PM (optional overtime)

Position Type: 3 Month Contract-to-Hire

What's the Job?

Compute cost and time factors, preparing accurate estimates in response to customer orders and RFQs.

Identify potential vendors or subcontractors, ensuring cost-effectiveness.

Review data to determine material and labor requirements.

Consult with customers, vendors, and other individuals to discuss estimates and resolve issues.

Maintain effective relationships with customers, ensuring sales volumes and margins.

What's Needed?

2-4 years of experience in estimating material cost and labor.

2-4 years of experience in manufacturing.

Strong math skills including decimals, fractions, and metric conversions.

Ability to read and interpret blueprints, purchase orders, and procedure manuals.

Solid customer service/sales background.
