Our client, a leading organization in the manufacturing industry, is seeking an Industrial Mechanic to join their team. As an Industrial Mechanic, you will be part of the Manufacturing & Compliance Department supporting the maintenance and operational efficiency of the facility. The ideal candidate will demonstrate problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Industrial Mechanic

Location: Alachua, FL

Pay Range: $28-35 DOE

Shift: Monday - Friday day shift

What's the Job?

Coordinate daily and planned maintenance activities to ensure smooth operations.

Develop and assist in creating maintenance policies and procedures for safe and efficient operations.

Perform troubleshooting and repairs on mechanical, electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and general plant systems.

Install, maintain, and upgrade equipment, ensuring optimal performance and safety compliance.

Participate in safety programs and contribute to a safe working environment for all team members.

What's Needed?

High School Diploma or GED with at least 5 years of relevant experience.

Knowledge of trade fundamentals, including repairs on pumps, mixers, hydraulics, pneumatics, and mechanical drives.

Skills in electrical systems, including basic PLC troubleshooting, with advanced mechanical knowledge preferred.

Certification in welding and forklift operation required.

Ability to work in elevated locations and confined spaces, with physical strength to lift up to 50 pounds.
