Job Title: Quality Inspector Job Description

As a Quality Inspector, you will be responsible for visually inspecting a wide variety of mechanical products. You will set up standard measuring equipment to ensure product, material, and equipment conformance to customer and company specifications. Additionally, you will perform mechanical inspections to maintain high-quality standards.

Responsibilities

Read and interpret blueprints and schematics.

Perform incoming, in-process, and final inspections while documenting results accurately.

Utilize surface plate setups to maintain correct geometry during inspections.

Use measuring tools such as verniers, micrometers, calipers, and pin gauges.

Perform extensive documentation to ensure compliance and traceability.

Essential Skills

Proficiency in CMM Programming.

Experience in inspection and production environments.

Familiarity with measuring tools and techniques.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Experience in a manufacturing environment.

Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.

Work Environment

Work in a very clean, lean manufacturing facility within small team cells. The position is on the first shift from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM. The dress code is casual, allowing jeans and a lytron shirt.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Woburn, MA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $22.00/hr.
