DescriptionEmployment Horizons is a nonprofit organization dedicated to assisting people with barriers to employment in achieving their individual vocational objectives and establishing self-sufficiency in the community. Position Overview:We are seeking a Bilingual Employment Support Professional to provide individualized case management, counseling, and on-the-job support to adults with disabilities employed on Employment Horizons' custodial contract at Picatinny Arsenal. This role focuses on supporting participants' workplace success through regular coaching, collaboration with supervisors, job accommodations, and relationship-building, while ensuring compliance with AbilityOne/SourceAmerica requirements. Schedule: Full-time, Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM Key Responsibilities:Manage a caseload of program participants employed on the Picatinny Arsenal custodial contractProvide individualized coaching and counseling through regular one-on-one meetingsMaintain accurate service logs, case notes, and required documentation in the case management systemCollaborate with custodial supervisors to monitor job performance, workplace adjustment, and skill developmentSupport participants' success through job accommodations, assistive technology, and natural supportsFacilitate positive working relationships between participants, coworkers, and supervisorsScreen and assess candidates from Career Development Services for program eligibilityEnsure compliance with AbilityOne/SourceAmerica requirements, including annual disability recertificationsParticipate in department meetings and collaborate with internal teams to support employment outcomesContribute to a supportive, inclusive, and empowering environment for participants Benefits:Employment Horizons values its team and offers a competitive benefits package, including:Generous paid time off: 15 holidays, 18 vacation days, and 10 sick daysEmployer-paid medical, dental, and vision coverageEducation Assistance Program: Up to $9,000 per year in tuition assistance401(k) plan with a 3% company matchA fun, collaborative team environment where your work truly makes a differenceQualificationsRequired Qualifications:Associate's degree in Social Work, Psychology, or a related fieldBilingual in English and Spanish (speaking, reading, and writing)Strong organizational, time management, and multitasking skillsExcellent written and verbal communication and active listening skillsSound judgment, common sense, and attention to detailProficiency in Microsoft Office and Google WorkspaceAbility to work independently with minimal supervisionAbility to remain calm and professional in high-pressure situationsValid driver's licenseWillingness to obtain CPR/First Aid certification Preferred Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Psychology, or related fieldExperience working with individuals with disabilities or other barriers to employmentExperience with case management or person-centered planningKnowledge of safe and proper use of cleaning equipmentCurrent CPR/First Aid certification Physical Demands & Work Environment:The employee is regularly required to talk and hear. The employee frequently is required to use their hands or fingers, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls. The employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, sit, reach with hands and arms, climb or balance, and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this position include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, and the ability to adjust focus.
