Customer Service Representative - Field Service

About the Role

We are seeking a Customer Service Representative to support furniture warranty services. This role involves coordinating with service technicians and customers, handling inbound and outbound calls, and ensuring exceptional service delivery.

Key Responsibilities

Provide outstanding customer service to internal and external stakeholders.

Handle inbound/outbound calls, complete forms, and determine claim status per guidelines.

Dispatch and schedule service requests for technicians; process work orders and documentation.

Build strong relationships with technicians and business partners.

Source and onboard new technicians; provide feedback and coaching.

Act as liaison for business-to-business accounts; meet service-level agreements.

Respond to customer inquiries, follow up on claims, and close cases accurately.

Perform additional administrative duties as assigned.

Requirements

Must Have:

6+ months of call center experience (inbound or outbound).

Strong data entry and order processing skills (20-30% of role).

Proficiency in navigating multiple systems and multitasking.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Ability to work independently and remotely.

High-speed internet and ability to hardwire modem to company-provided phone.

Nice to Have:

Experience in logistics, dispatching, or claims.

Associate degree.

Disqualifiers:

Job tenure less than 1 year in each position.

Inability to work remotely.

Training & Performance

Side-by-side training for 2-3 weeks with ongoing leadership support.

Performance measured by cases completed (goal: 60+ per day).

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Grand Rapids, MI.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $14.00 - $14.00/hr.
