As a Security Officer - Mall Patrol Unarmed in Piscataway, NJ , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol a high-end retail location, helping to deter security-related incidents while providing an exceptional customer service experience. Pay Rate: $20.50 / Hour

What You'll Do:

Provide excellent customer service to clients and visitors by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner, following Allied Universal guidelines.

Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activities and observe any unusual conditions.

Monitor entrances, exits, and other key areas to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious behavior.

Document and report any security-related incidents or concerns in accordance with Allied Universal protocols.

Assist with emergency response activities as directed by site management and/or Allied Universal leadership.

Maintain a visible presence throughout the location to help to deter potential issues and provide assistance as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.

Customer service experience is preferred.

The ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.

Loss prevention experience is preferred.

Alarm panel experience is preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
