As a Security Officer - Retail Patrol Specialist in Indianapolis, IN , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol retail and mall locations, helping to deter security-related incidents while providing outstanding customer service. Your visible presence and communication skills will contribute to a welcoming environment for visitors and staff. What You'll Do:

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at the retail or mall location.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.

Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior. Working environments and conditions may vary by client site.

Observe and report any unusual activity, security-related incidents, or hazardous conditions to appropriate personnel.

Assist visitors, employees, and/or customers by providing directions and responding to inquiries at the location.

Support access control procedures by monitoring entrances and exits as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
