Job Title: Assembler Job Description

The position is responsible for performing all assembly operations within the Sub Assembly Work Centers. You will utilize hand, air, and power tools, along with quality testing equipment.

Responsibilities

Match and fit parts in assemblies and subassemblies according to blueprint instructions.

Perform testing operations to ensure product quality.

Cross-train in various areas within the Grade 1 classification.

Understand and follow documentation procedures, including In-Process Check Sheets and Test Logs.

Maintain good attendance as it is required for this position.

Essential Skills

Proficiency with hand, air, and power tools.

Ability to read blueprints, engineering specifications, test specifications, and bills of material.

Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

Attention to detail.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Previous experience with manufacturing processes such as assembly is helpful.

Experience in related fields like production, customer service, mechanical assembly, and general labor is advantageous.

Work Environment

The work environment is non-climate controlled, with lots of fans, but it can get hot in the summer. Steel toe boots are not required for production workers and assemblers.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Gerald, MO.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.10 - $18.10/hr.
