JOB REQUIREMENTS: IPEC is recognized as a company that provides turnkey solutions to customers because of its ability to provide services, materials and systems, beginning with the conceptual phase of a project through start-up and commissioning. We currently have an opening for a Full-Time Mechanical Engineer in our Engineering Department. Responsibilities include project coordination, mechanical design, review of system drawings created by the design department, generation and specification of equipment for procurement. The Project Engineer works closely with Project Managers, Designers and customers. Engineers spend the majority of their time in-house, with occasional travel to meet with customers. This position is \"NOT\" remote. Assist drafters in developing the structural design of products using drafting tools or computer-assisted design (CAD) or drafting equipment and software. Estimate costs and submit bids for engineering, construction, or extraction projects, and prepare contract documents. Investigate equipment failures and difficulties to diagnose faulty operation, and to make recommendations to maintenance crew. Research, design, evaluate, install, operate, and maintain mechanical products, equipment, systems and processes to meet requirements, applying knowledge of engineering principles. Specify system components or direct modification of products to ensure conformance with engineering design and performance specifications. Study industrial processes to determine where and how application of equipment can be made. ** OTHER EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS: Ideal candidate will have: BS in Engineering or related field Must have experience in pharmaceutical, biotech or food industries.
