Description

We are looking for an experienced Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our team in Bensenville, Illinois. In this role, you will play a critical part in managing billing processes, reconciling accounts, and ensuring accurate collections. This is a Contract position with the potential for long-term employment, offering a hybrid work schedule with three days onsite and two days remote.

Responsibilities:

Manage billing activities, including generating invoices and tracking payments.

Perform account reconciliations to identify discrepancies and ensure accuracy.

Handle commercial collections by following up on overdue payments and resolving disputes.

Conduct credit checks to assess customer eligibility and minimize financial risk.

Apply cash payments efficiently while maintaining detailed transaction records.

Utilize NetSuite or Oracle systems to manage accounts receivable processes.

Analyze deductions, allowances, and discounts to ensure proper allocation.

Collaborate with internal teams to address unmatched AR and resolve issues.

Use advanced Excel functions, such as VLOOKUPs and formulas, for data analysis and reporting.

Support financial planning and analysis (FP& A) tasks as needed to streamline operations.

Requirements - Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounts receivable or related roles.

Proficiency in NetSuite or Oracle systems for managing financial operations.

Strong knowledge of billing functions, cash applications, and coding invoices.

Experience with commercial collections and credit checks.

Advanced Excel skills, including creating and using formulas, VLOOKUPs, and XLOOKUPs.

Ability to reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies effectively.

Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

Familiarity with financial planning and analysis (FP& A) is a plus.
