Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and file federal, state, and local tax returns for individuals and organizations

Review client financial records, gather relevant documentation, and ensure accuracy of reported income and deductions

Keep up to date on current tax laws and regulations to ensure compliance and maximize returns

Advise clients on tax planning strategies, credits, and deductions

Communicate clearly with clients to clarify requirements and address questions or concerns

Maintain and organize confidential records in accordance with firm policies and regulatory standards

Collaborate with team members to resolve complex tax situations and ensure quality control

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field preferred

Previous experience as a Tax Preparer or similar role highly valued

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Proficiency with tax preparation software and Microsoft Office Suite

Ability to manage multiple client accounts and meet filing deadlines
