As a Airport Security Professional - Unarmed in Hilo, HI , you will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure airport environment by monitoring airport premises, conducting security patrols, and enforcing access control procedures. Position Type: Full Time - Morning

Pay Rate: $22.50 / Hour with an hourly bonus of $1.96. Premium paid shall be based on the position actually worked by the employee.

Day Time

Mon04:30 AM - 02:00 PM

Fri04:30 AM - 02:00 PM

Sat04:30 AM - 02:00 PM

Sun04:30 AM - 02:00 PM

Requirements:

21 + Years of Age

Valid Driver's License

Ability to pass a background check, drug screen, and physical exam

Must also have the ability to pass a federal background check for DOT

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.

Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.

Observe and report any unusual or suspicious activities to the appropriate personnel.

Assist visitors, employees, and/or contractors with directions and general information as needed.

Maintain a visible presence throughout the location to help to deter potential issues.

Follow all site-specific protocols and instructions provided by Allied Universal and the client.

Complete daily activity reports and incident reports as required by Allied Universal policies.

Minimum Requirements:

Be at least 21 years of age.

Customer service experience is preferred.

Be at least 21 years of age for unarmed roles; 22+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
