Manufacturing Engineer - Dashboard Development
Position Overview
Are you passionate about turning data into actionable insights that transform manufacturing? We're looking for a Manufacturing Engineer who combines deep knowledge of manufacturing processes with strong dashboard development and data visualization skills. In this role, you'll be at the forefront of digital transformation-designing dashboards that empower teams, optimizing processes, and driving innovation across our operations.
What You'll Do
Build Impactful Dashboards: Develop, deploy, and maintain real-time dashboards that track production metrics, equipment performance, and quality data-helping teams make smarter, faster decisions.
Optimize Processes: Design and implement manufacturing processes that improve quality, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.
Collaborate Across Teams: Work closely with production, quality, and IT to identify opportunities for automation and digital transformation.
Analyze & Innovate: Use data analytics to uncover trends, root causes, and opportunities for continuous improvement.
Champion Standards: Document SOPs and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
Empower People: Train and support shop floor personnel in using dashboards and technology tools.
Lead Change: Drive Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma initiatives to foster a culture of continuous improvement.
What You Bring
Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
3 years of experience in manufacturing engineering, ideally in high-volume production.
Hands-on experience developing dashboards with Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms .
Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data analysis techniques.
Solid understanding of manufacturing principles and process optimization.
Tech Toolkit
Dashboard Development: Power BI, Tableau, QlikView, advanced Excel (macros).
Programming/Scripting: Python, SQL, DAX, VBA for data manipulation and automation.
Manufacturing Systems: ERP (SAP, Oracle), MES, SCADA.
Process Improvement: Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, Value Stream Mapping.
Preferred
Excellent communication and project management skills.
